| | so i went to a wedding today. it was for another person i knew from my antioch church days. it's always nice to go and see how people has grown or how people are still the same (but still grown..?). seeing a lot of old faces. brings back some good memories of basically where i grew up. seeing the ahjumma's and ahjuhssi's is good too. and the constant, 'my my, you've grown this much?' aren't that annoying either.
i enjoy seeing the old faces. i liked it a lot while i was there. but i guess there were some issues going on and my parents decided to move churches. it was very sudden and i feel like i lost with a number of those antioch friends. thinking about it now, it's kinda unfair. i never got to say a proper 'bye' to the youth group ppls there. i just left for vacation for about a month, and when i came back to atlanta, i ended up going to another church.
i sense many things have changed since then. even among the old faces, there are many many new faces as well. it seems to look like it's going well. that's good to see. sometimes i wonder what it'd be like if i stayed. but no point in thinking about that. and there's new buildings, new pastors.. doesnt feel quite the same anymore..
but that's not the point of this blog. haha...
it's just.. it brings back good memories to me.. and weddings are pretty happy too. happy times....... |
